They work great, show you the track, song name, time remaining, etc... and are about the size of a pack of matches. It even has a few preset equalizer settings. (Jazz setting seems to be the clearest for me.)
Problems:
1) On one of the mp3 players, the screen isn't perfectly level, so everything is slightly slanted.
2) You cannot browse through folders. All your tracks must be on the memory card without using folders. This makes skipping cds tedious, because you have to skip each individual track in order to get to the next cd.
3) When you turn the unit on, it starts with track 1. It does not save where you were at last.
For $7.50, I can deal with these quirks. I bought it so I could work out with it and not have to bring my expensive and clunky iphone with me. If I drop this, I'm out $7.50 and not $500.
